Privacy Policy — Golf
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This policy describes what the Golf app collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you choose to sign in to use the
leaderboard, save scores, or join tournaments. Sign-in uses a one-time
code sent to your email.
- Game data — your display name and round scores, stored
so they can appear on leaderboards.
- Usage analytics — anonymous product-usage events (for
example, a round started or finished) via PostHog. This uses a random
identifier stored in your browser's local storage, not cookies, and
helps us understand which features are used. It is not linked to advertising.
You can play the game without signing in; in that case no personal
information beyond the anonymous usage analytics above is collected.
How it is stored
Account and score data is stored using Supabase, our backend provider.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Our analytics
(PostHog) are cookieless and used only to understand product usage.
- We do not collect your location.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (16 in the EU/UK).
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from them.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated scores yourself, at any time,
from My Account → Delete account & data in the app. You can
also email adamohanian@gmail.com and
we will remove your data.
